I stumbled into this amazing conversation the other day and it has had me thinking. The prompt was “What would you yell from the mountain top?”
Sure, I initially came to what felt like a knee-jerk reaction of “Woooooooooo!” because there’s an inherent thrill in getting to the top of a mountain, taking in the view, the accomplishment and all the endorphins that come with it. But what is the figurative mountain I am climbing right now?
And for the most part, “Woooo!” is a representation of where I am right now. It’s a little ‘let’s go’ and a little ‘bring it on.’ I am accepting of what lies ahead be it good or bad and taking it all in with enthusiasm. At the same time, I have challenged myself to ask this question more frequently and see what comes of it, where it takes me.
As mountain dwellers here in Aspen, we find ourselves at the top of a mountain more frequently than many others. What would you yell from the top of the mountain?
